Check the shots at http://www.flickr.com/photos/oracleopenworld09/sets/72157622462805751/. They might help clear things up for you.

#2 - don't think it detracts at all from the quality of their other apps. My point is that Oracle took a different approach for Fusion Apps - more emphasis on building the apps with usability in mind. It's a step forward.fteterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11221041028141787708noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31147466.post-62168711100079805802010-02-01T12:12:35.507-08:002010-02-01T12:12:35.507-08:00Hello Floyd,

The praise for the Excel likeness has me puzzled, though. It's just a tabular presentation (Excel let's you calculate stuff, format stuff, color code stuff, ....). How are those spreadtables in Fusion fundamentally different from EBS Folder screens that were introduced some 15 years ago?

#2 Oracle has built enterprise apps for 25 years and they have acquired many of the major competitors and their collective brain trust/experience. And they had to go out to customers to learn/gather best practices for Fusion? That may be great for Fusion, but what would that say about their other product lines?AppsConsultantnoreply@blogger.com
