Gearing Up for COLLABORATE 07

COLLABORATE 07, the application and technology convention for the Oracle user community, is right around the corner. The convention will be held April 15th through 19th at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this particular case, what happens in Vegas should not stay in Vegas – this is a good opportunity to learn from the experiences of other users and to take that learning home with you.

A preliminary schedule is already available from OAUG and can be accessed here. I’ve already picked out some interesting sessions, and thought I’d share them with you.

My Presentations

Of course, I’m deeply interested in my own presentation on implementing iterative project management methodologies. As a member of the OAUG Customer Support Council, I’ll also be attending that council meeting – you should come too if you’d like to get involved with support-related issues. I’ll also be part of the Fusion Panel discussion, which is your opportunity to hear where we think Oracle is going with Fusion Applications and to vent when we don’t give you enough information. You may consider this to be a not-so-discrete plug to attend these sessions…

It's pretty obvious that I'll need to clone myself in order to attend all the sessions that interest me. It's a good sign for a conference like this when there are so many good sessions that I have to make difficult decisions on which sessions to attend. So from my perspective, COLLABORATE 07 is shaping up to be a very exciting conference!

If you're already registered to attend COLLABORATE 07, I think you're in for a great conference. If you have not registered yet, get the lead out and register here.
